El Jardin del Cactus was designed by the late Lanzarote Artist Cesar Manrique.
This impressive collection of Cacti, which were selected by the Botanist Estanislao Gonzales Ferrer, features well over 1000 species of Cactus. The restored windmill and strange metal sculptures make for an impressive contrast against the dry volcanic landscape.

Getting to the Cactus Garden
You can get to the Cactus Garden by Public Bus (Linea 9 from Arrecife Bus Station), Coach Tour or Car. The The Best of César Manrique Tour and the Grand Tour of Lanzarote excursions both stop at the Cactus Garden and include the entrance fees in the ticket price.
